Hi! I’m Kay - an eternal optimist, loving, nurturing, and resilient. My family comes from a small Canadian town where everyone works hard in the mines. Hockey was my first love and my passport to the wider world—I came to the U.S. on an athletic scholarship and have since built a career in client services, where solving problems with empathy is what I do every day. I also paint and do photography and I dream of filling our home with creativity and laughter. My favorite moments in life are when I get to bring people together through stories, humor, and creativity.

My husband is one of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet—patient, reliable, thoughtful, and endlessly giving. He’s a volunteer community mentor in Oakland, helping young people build confidence and skills. In his work as an engineering leader, he brings integrity and compassion into every decision. He’s the kind of person who will fly across the country to help a friend or stay up late to support family through tough times. 

Together, we’re a team—best friends, adventurers, and proud dog parents to our Fur Baby Kiko. We cherish our time with our families, especially our 3 year old niece, who has made us even more excited to become parents ourselves. We’re both deeply committed to providing the best possible life to our children and raising them with unconditional love and support.
